PEI Wild Blueberry Growers

Facilitation, Member Engagement

The PEI Blueberry Growers were facing an important decision about the future of the organization and potential collaboration.

This work involved designing and delivering a comprehensive member engagement process, including facilitated sessions, webinars, and tailored communications materials. The approach ensured members were well informed, had opportunities to engage and ask questions, and could provide meaningful input.

The result was strong member participation, informed feedback, and a solid foundation to support Board decision-making.

“Working with Dawn was comfortable, responsive, and efficient. The approach was professional, while still creating a strong sense of ease and trust. Questions and requests were always met quickly — often with thoughtful solutions I would not have considered on my own — and everything was handled thoroughly and promptly. It made for a genuinely easy working relationship.

The greatest impact came from Dawn’s ability to distill overwhelming bureaucratic information and communicate it to our membership in a direct, accessible way. What initially felt like a daunting task was handled smoothly and effectively with the communication support provided.

Dawn was able to help our organization by facilitating in-person meetings with our membership on a complex and sensitive topic. The facilitation approach supported clear, focused, and productive discussions, allowing us to gather meaningful feedback. What I expected to be a process marked by friction and unrest became one that left me feeling confident in our ability to navigate the issue and get the information we needed.”
