Canada’s Ocean Supercluster
Blue Bioeconomy Initiative
The Blue Bioeconomy initiative is national in scope, bringing together partners from industry, research, government, and regional ecosystems across Canada. With diverse mandates and interests at play, creating alignment requires a structured and patient approach.
This work supported the Ocean Supercluster and its partners through an iterative engagement and planning process to clarify the national opportunity, align priorities, and identify practical pathways for collaboration. The process balanced big-picture ambition with grounded discussion to support shared understanding and momentum.
The work continues as the initiative evolves, with ongoing collaboration focused on refining priorities, strengthening cross-Canada alignment, and translating early momentum into coordinated, implementable action.
